Each week weaves songs, stories, games, earth skills and arts in a community village where kids are immersed in "the elements" of nature and cultural mentorship, using traditions and approaches learned from the 8 Shields Institute, the Art of Mentoring Program, and Coyote Mentoring.

Kids enjoy our natural playground nestled among white pines, primitive shelters and forts, some designated for play while others are studios for painting, jewelry making, woodcarving, pottery making, bushcraft & wildcrafting.

Kids explore the "studios" and the forest, hills, creek and fields with skilled mentors, who offer tailored activities based on the children's passions and interests!


Past camp activities:

+ camp set up, making benches, stools, spruce bough beds, debris shelters

+bows & arrows

+land art trail

+wild foods & medicine

+coal-burnt wooden spoons

+bark containers

+keeping nature journals

NOTE: Due to demand, a Leaders in Training Program is being integrated into our July 4-8 & July 11-15 week. If your child is 13 or 14 and would like to attend, please get in touch for more info. There is an phone interview with the parent, followed by a meeting with the participant.  

A 3 hour meet up in April, May, June will be offered for participants.

All staff have valid criminal record checks. Lead staff have First Aid & CPR Level C. Mentor to child ratio is 1:6 for Otters & 1:8 or less for Foxes & Coyotes.

COST: $345

AGES: 4-6 otters; 7-9 foxes & 10-12 coyotes

Kids bring their lunch, two snacks, a water bottle with their name on it, and a bathing suit and towel for creek dips!
