Families are welcome to spend two days surrounded by nature and connecting to the elements, crafting with natural materials and learning about ancient ways of being on the land.
We welcome you to pitch your tents and enjoy the company of other like-minded friends and experience the sights and sounds of nature all around and to experience Coyote Mentoring in a communal setting.
Apart from nature hikes, child passion games, ancient crafts, you can also try your hand at hand drills, bow drills and flint and steel, to make matchless fires and gain practical wilderness and primitive skills.
What is a bow drill? It is an ancient fire-making tool made of wood, string that with a little elbow grease can transform you into a real-life super hero, with a matchless fire-making gift!
We will share stories, songs and feast together potluck style, so please bring a dish to share! We will also bake some pizza in our new cob oven!
Register early as space is limited! Here is a link for registration and more details: http://www.lesarterres.com/wild-fire-gathering.html
